Basal Fertilizer

  • o FYM: 4ton/acre – Apply in the main field before puddling.
    o Urea: ~45-50 kg/acre
    o DAP: ~43-45 kg/acre
    o MOP: ~33-34 kg/acre
    o Zinc (ZnSO4): ~ 10kg/acre – basal application
    o The dose of fertilizer can be adjusted based on the soil test results.

Top Dressing

Urea: ~25 kg/acre (1/3 of the total N requirement)

2nd Top Dressing (Panicle Initiation Stage – 45–55 Days After Transplanting)

LCC (Leaf Color Chart) based Granular Urea

Match the leaf colour in the field with the LCC (Leaf Colour Chart); apply urea only if the leaf colour falls below the prescribed threshold, otherwise do not apply it.

–      If the crop appears weak after top dressing, apply Nano Urea as a foliar spray at 500 ml/acre.
