Symptoms

  • The disease shows symptoms as dark brown spots on older leaves, which eventually cause the seeds to become small and shrivelled.

Mangement

  • Spray a solution prepared from zinc-based fungicide, mustard cake, waste decomposer, and a mixture of 10 decomposed leaves.
  • Commercially available products such as Pseudomonas fluorescenes @ 2-3 gm/lit water, Pseudomonas fluorescenes-0.5% WP @ 5g/Lwater, Trichoderma viridae 1.0 % WP, Trichoderma viridae @ 250 – 500 gm per acre can be used for effective control.
