Pre-Sowing Management

Soil Testing
  • • Determine the required quantities of N, P, K, and micronutrients based on the soil test report.
Laser Levelling
Precise land levelling is essential for both DSR and Transplanted Puddled Rice (TPR).
  • • arry out laser land levelling to ensure uniform irrigation distribution, better germination, and effective weed control.
    • rrange a laser land leveller through the local CHC (Custom Hiring Centre).
    • onventional levelling methods may leave variations of 10–20 cm in the field; laser levelling eliminates this problem.
