Harvesting :

  • The leaves turn yellow, drying and hardening of the grains.
  • Harvesting method: Harvesting and drying of earheads.
  • For threshing, use improved farm machines/ tractor/ stone roller; followed by cleaning, drying and storage.
  • Store the grains after drying them well in the sun.
