Organic Black Gram Land preparation

Finally, land should be prepared by planking.
One deep ploughing after harvesting of Rabi crop is quite beneficial as it helps to retain the soil moisture and minimize population of harboring insect pests, disease inoculum and weeds.
Apply 200 to 1000 kg per acre of green leaf manure along with 50 kg of rock phosphate.
In sulphur-deficient areas, apply 8 kg of sulphur per acre.
