In case of normal rains, irrigation is not required in kharif urdbean crop.

However, in case of long dry spell, one irrigation is recommended at pod formation.

3-5 irrigations are required for spring and summer crop.

In case of rabi urdbean, lifesaving irrigation through micro-irrigation (sprinkler) system can be given at critical stage.
