• Transplanting the seedlings 15-20 days after sowing.
• Seedlings with 4-6 leaves should be used for transplanting.
• The light green coloured leaves should be present while transplanting.
• Transplant the seedlings at 2-3 cm depth in order to get more tillers
• Transplant 2 seedlings /hill and ensure 33 hills /sq.m is sufficient for Kharif season, 44 hills/sq.m for Rabi, 66hills/sq.m for Summer is sufficient.
• Provide 30cm gap for every 2m area to get proper air, sunlight to the seedlings so that it reduces the incidence of pests and diseases.
