Rice Blast

  • For management of Rice Blast:
    Blast disease causes spindle-shaped spots with grey centre and brown margins on leaves.
    • It also causes neck rot and drying/falling of panicles.
    • Disease is more severe in basmati varieties and under excessive nitrogen application.
    Spray (per acre)
    • Azoxystrobin + Difenoconazole 325 SC: 200 mL/acre(OR)• Zineb 75 WP: 500 g/acre
    Mix in 200 litres water/acre and spray uniformly.
    Time of Spray:
    •1st spray: At boot stage
    • 2nd spray: At ear emergence stage
