Leaf Blight
For management of Bacterial Leaf Blight:
-
• Leaf blight causes yellowing and drying from leaf tip/margins which later turns brown and dry.
• Disease spreads rapidly in fields with excess nitrogen and standing water.
• Use balanced fertilizer and proper field drainage to reduce disease spread.
• Avoid excessive urea application in affected fields.
Spray (per acre)
• Spray Copper oxychloride: 600 g/acre
• Streptomycin sulphate + Tetracycline hydrochloride: 120 g/acre
• Mix in 200 litres water/acre and spray uniformly on crop.
