Deficiency Symptoms

  • Yellowing of Seedlings:
  • If new leaves turn yellow, spray 0.5–1% ferrous sulphate. (0.5–1.0 kg ferrous sulphate in 100 litres water per acre). Spray 3 times at weekly intervals.
  • If leaves turn rusty brown after yellowing: Spray 0.5% zinc sulphate heptahydrate (500 g/100 L water) (OR) 0.3% zinc sulphate monohydrate (300 g/100 L water per acre)
