Weed Management Weed Management (Post-emergence)

  • It is very important to control weeds in the period of 15-45 days after sowing.
    • For Cultural practices weeding should be done on 15th and 30th day of sowing.
    • Spray Topramezone 33.6% SC @ 30 to 40 ml /acre + MSO adjuvant @ 2 ml/l of Water (or) Tembotrine 34.4% SC @ 115ml/acre depending upon the weed population present in the field.(OR) 2,4-D Amine Salt 58 SL@400 ml/acre.
    • Spraying time: 20-30days after sowing.
    Note: Don’t use Herbicide in intercropping method, as the intercrop might be damaged.
