Weed Management and Inter CroppingWeed Management (Pre-emergence)

  • It is very important to control weeds in the period of 15-45 days after sowing.
    • Grow cowpea as an intercrop for fodder purpose between the rows to reduce the weed population
    • Spray Atrazine 50% WP @ 400-800 g/acre.
    • Spraying time: 2-3 days after sowing
    Note: Don’t use Herbicide in intercropping method, as the intercrop might be damaged.
