• Identification: Larvae bore into stem causing pinholes, dead hearts, and weak plants.
• Management: Grow cowpea as intercrop (2:1), install Trichocards @ 3/acre after 15 DAS. Spray Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 60 mL/acre or apply Fipronil 0.3 GR @ 4 kg/acre.
