  • Rotting of basal internodes, gives appearance as if boiled in water with fermenting odour are the identification symptoms.
    For the management of Bacterial Rot:
    • Save the crop from water logging by growing it on raised beds.
    • Soil drenching of Bleaching Powder @1.5g/ 15 lit of water immediately after symptoms appear.
