1st Irrigation for Short, Medium and Long Duration Varieties
• For Short, Medium, Long duration Varieties 1st irrigation should be provided at Germination/Establishment seed germination stage which comes around 5–7 DAS.
• First irrigation should be applied very carefully wherein water should not overflow on the ridges/beds.
• In general, the irrigation should be applied in furrows up to 2/3rd height of the ridges/beds.
